Classic Mary Higgins Clark. I got about half-way through, then was up until midnight finishing it. (I've been up far later on far more consequential nights with her books.) The professional heroine, with a traumatic tragedy in her past, comes home to take a wonderful job and recover memories of her past and things deteriorate from there. Love this lady's books.
Am now starting People of the Wolf by W. Michael Gear and Kathleen O'Neal Gear, the novelists writing about ancient peoples of North America. This is my third book by them.
