Finished THE TUMBLING TURNER SISTERS

31208651

I enjoyed this book much more than I thought I would.  Four sisters, with very different personalities and a stage mother, when faced with financial disaster, taught themselves to do some acrobatic tumbling and entered a local one time show.  This brought them a small time agent who got them some seriously small time gigs in a number of run-down vaudeville theatres.  They continued to invent and teach themselves additions to the act.  Along the way, they meet many more adversities.  Their love of the theatre and of each other makes for a page turner that is fun to read.

I am now about to start The Augur's Gambit by Stephen R. Donaldson.  I love this author of fantasy and science fiction.  I love his inventiveness and vocabulary, but mostly I love his characters (that he has no qualms about killing with no warning), his environments and history of those environments, and exciting plots.  I've read everything I can find by him and I keep looking for more..
