Finished THE POWER by L. J. Smith

A satisfying book.  The series could end here quite completely, but it doesn't, which is good, since these books are short, sweet, and fun.

I have now started The Last Dark by Stephen Donaldson.

This is the tenth and last book in the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant.  It is difficult reading, but it is also beautiful.  It will take awhile, but I already find myself relaxing, leaning back, and enjoying the ride back to The Land.

Finished HERE COMES TROUBLE by Michael Moore

There were times I was indignant right alongside Michael Moore, but many more in which I was laughing out loud.  The people around me would look at me like I was crazy, but MM is funny.  There were other poignant moments as well...very readable, very good book.

Finished HOME IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS

Lovely little supernatural romance involving time travel.  Relaxing and fun reading.  I thoroughly enjoy this author, Heather Graham.

I am now reading Here Comes Trouble, a series of autobiographical stories by Michael Moore.  (He is my hero...or one of them.)  The first chapter is "The Execution of Michael Moore," both factually and symbolically.  I am appalled.  Is this America or not?  Someone disagrees with you so you threaten to kill them...actually attempt to kill them?  If liberals behaved like the conservatives Michael writes about, everyone on Fox News would be dead!

Now this sounds like I find the book shocking, but in truth, it is hysterical...I have laughed and laughed and I am not through the first chapter.  He tells it like he sees it, but we already knew that.

Finished Book 4 of THE ONCE AND FUTURE KING

1396008

Part 4 is The Ill-Made Knight and is about Lancelot, starting at the age of 15 and ending when he is in his mid-40's.  Whereas Malory had simply recounted events: deeds and tournaments that all the knights took part in, with a factual and listing style, White is telling a story with much humor.  He has chosen to leave out much of what Malory included and embellish the most interesting parts.  He focuses on relationships, feelings, and personalities as well as adventures.  For this reason, he is much more interesting..at least to this reader.

I am about to begin Home in Time For Christmas by Heather Graham.

Finished THE LAST SHIP

21911409

This was an "after the apocalypse" novel that caught my attention immediately and held me spellbound through the entire time I read it, though I can't really say why.  It was slow-moving, but had interesting characters, a couple great mysteries, and some fascinating explanations and descriptions.  I recommend it.

I am now returning to The Once and Future King, by T. H. White.  I am about to read the third book (part) titled "The Ill-Made Knight."  Since the first page is about Lancelot at 15, I assume he will be the title character.
